This test is a self-administered questionnaire to measure autistic traits in adults. It was developed by Simon Baron-Cohen and his colleagues at the Cambridge Autism Research Centre.
For each statement below, please choose the response that best describes how strongly it applies to you.
Please Note: This is a screening tool, not a diagnostic instrument. A high score suggests that you may have a higher number of autistic traits, but it does not confirm a diagnosis. If you have concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Your score is: 0 out of 50.
In the original 2001 study by Baron-Cohen, the average score for the control group was 16.4. A score of **32 or more** was suggested as a useful cutoff to indicate a high likelihood of clinically significant autistic traits.
Remember: This is just a screener. Many people without autism score above 32, and some autistic people score below 32. This result is not a diagnosis. If you have any concerns about your results, please discuss them with a doctor or a mental health professional.
